CHILDREN'S CHRISTIAN LEARNING:

Church Nursery: The church nursery is available for infants and toddlers who need a place to move around and play.

Preschool-Aged Children: Preschoolers may go to room 2 at the beginning of worship to hear bible stories, sing songs, and do arts & crafts and other activities.

Class Time: 10:45am - 12:15pm

Children's Church: Elementary-aged children will go to worship, then leave during the sermon hymn. They will go to room 7 for Bible stories, songs, arts & crafts, and other activities. This class meets every Sunday, except for the 4th Sunday of the month. (Note: This means that there is Children's Church on the 5th Sundays of the month.)
Coordinator(s): Don Brown, Gladstone Marcus
Audience: 1st - 6th grade
Class Time: During worship service, approximately 11:15am – 12:15pm

Young Congregation Members

ADULT CHRISTIAN LEARNING:

New Testament Theology: What do we learn from the Old Testament? How does it connect with the New Testament? This class will address these questions with the help of the book New Testament Theology by James D.G. Dunn.
Coordinator(s): Don Brown
Audience: All Adults, Older Youth
Class Time: Sundays at 9:30pm, September 18 – November 6

Crown Financial Study: This class looks at a Biblical understanding of how we should manage the financial gifts that have been given to us by God.
Coordinator(s): John Farley
Audience: All Adults
Class Time: Will begin in January 2012. Class will last for 10 weeks, with specifics TBA.

Martin Bible Study: Takes place at the home of Frank and Millie Martin. All are invited.

Class Time: Tuesdays, from 7pm - 8:30pm.

The Wired Word: THE WIRED WORD:  will continue on the Second and Fourth Sundays in the Senior Minister's Office, beginning January 8.  Topics discussed come from the current news and help participants view their religious faith in the context of the events in the world around us.  There is a wide diversity of viewpoints that come out in the discussions bringing both challenge and inspiration.

Class Time: 12:30 pm

THE PRESENT WORD: An excellent class for young adults transitioning from school life to working life.  The class meets on the first and third Sundays starting January 15th in the Senior Minister's Office. The class explores the Biblical message in the context of the current world to find God's love as reflected through Jesus and its impact on how we respond to the world.   Class participants will gain deeper insight into the Biblical message and a strengthening of their faith to guide their decisions.

Class Time: 12:30 pm

ADULT FELLOWSHIP:

Young Adult (Under 40) Program: This new program will launch on Tuesday, September 27 at 6:30pm. The group will meet at the church for games and discussion on a semi-monthly basis. Due to the variable schedules for some of our young adults, event times will be determined close to the upcoming events. Events will alternate between social and spiritual discussion, and information will be updated on the church Facebook group page.
Audience: Adults under 40
Class Time: Tuesdays at 6:30pm, on a semi-monthly basis.
